Recording of “Pater Noster”

On Saturday, October 22, 2016, singers Eara Beaudet (soprano), Claudiner Ledoux (alto), Bernard Cayouette (tenor) and Jean-Pierre Couturier (baritone) recorded my work “Pater Noster”, composed in 2011, at Missione Maria Ausiliatrice, 8550, ave. Joliot-Curie, Montréal, Canada. Padraig Buttner-Schnirer was the recording engineer for this project with the final mix expected before the end of November.

Workshop for LAUDEM

On Monday, October 10th, 2016, at 14h30 I gave a workshop on organ improvisation of choral accompaniment during the annual study day of LAUDEM, the Association of Liturgical Musicians of Canada, which took part at Paroisse Sainte-Angèle, 5275, boul. Lavoisier, at Montréal. Furthermore, I was reelected for another 3-year term as administrator.

“Fables” concert at Saint-Ivan-Rilski Church

On Saturday October 8th 2016 at 8 PM baritone Jean-Pierre Couturier and I performed a concert at Saint-Ivan-Rilski church in Montréal. The programme included works from the “Fables” realization: Frank Martin’s “6 Monologe aus Jedermann”, Maurice Ravel’s “Chansons madécasses” and my cycle “Fables”. Special thanks to Jeffrey Stonehouse and Viviana Gosselin who once again joined us to perform Ravel’s cycle.
