Premiere for Wind Orchestra

On Saturday, May 26th, at 19h34, the Orchestre à vents non-identifié – OVNI, premières my work Danse folesque à la bulgare, composed as part of my composer’s residency with the orchestra. The concert, conducted by Jonathan Dagenais, took place at the Marguerite Bourgeoys Hall at Collège Regina Assumpta, 1750, rue Sauriol Est, Montréal.

A CD release of the repertoire is expected in the autumn of this year.

The orchestra organized an exhibition of a part of my hand-written score in the lobby of the concert hall. Special thanks to François Saint-Hilaire for his artwork.

Performances of 2 vocal works

On May 11th, 2018, at 12h15 at the Sanctuaire Marie-Reine-des-Coeurs in Montréal, Canada, Jean-Pierre Couturier gave the word premiere of my work Salve Regina for baritone and piano and the 2017 revision of my 2001 composition Non pur la morte on text by Michelangelo Buonarroti. I performed the organ for this concert, which was part of the annual sanctuary series called L’orgue en mai.
