Short commission for organ

His Excellency, Monseigneur Lionel Gendron, Bishop of Saint-Jean-Longueuil, became the second person after Hélène Paul to commission me an Interlude for organ. Gabrielle Tessier’s ongoing project to commission me a cycle of Organ Interludes for a traditional post-Homily performance at the Co-cathedral at Longueuil seeks three more contributors.

CD “La Passione secondo Giovanni”

On Friday, September 14th 2018, took place the launch of the CD album “La Passione secondo Giovanni”, a Disques Benedictus production, where I feature as composer, organist and singer. This album of sacred music contains, among others, two monumental works by Jean-Pierre Couturier: a 33-minute long a cappella setting of the Passion according to John and the first original piece written in the Mohawk language that is not an adaptation of previously existing music, or a translation. The CD also contains a work of mine, Salve, Regina.

The CD can be purchased online here: https://www.disquesbenedictus.ca/ The cost of $25,75 includes tax and shipping.
