Concert at Providence St-Joseph

On March 25th 2019 at 14h30 I accompanied baritone Jean-Pierre Couturier at his solo concert at Providence Saint-Joseph in Montréal. I replaced another pianist who could not perform for health reasons. The repertoire included works by Bach, Gounod, Donizetti, as well as jazz standards and a rarely performed set by French composer Émile-Jean-Joseph Vuillermoz.

5th Lenten Interlude commissioned

Rev. Robert Gendreau, Director of Liturgy Services at the Catholique Diocese of Montréal becomes the commissioner of the fifth Lenten organ work that I will compose to be used as a musical offering during Lent. It will be the last of five interludes that form a Lenten organ cycle project, an idea of Gabrielle Tessier, titular organist at the Cocathédrale Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue de Longueuil. The other supporters are art patron Hélène Paul (I), His Excellency Lionel Gendron, Bishop of the Diocèse de Saint-Jean-Longueuil (II), the Vital Organ Project (III, Graeme Shields & Tyler Jameson Pimm) and concert organist Christian Lane (IV).
