On Saturday, April 27th 2019 at 7 PM and on Sunday, April 28th at 3 PM, Steven Klimowski and Sadie Danforth-Brightman performed my work “Mon âme fut à sa merci” in the Historic Hand House in Elizabethtown, NY, USA as part of the Piano by Nature concert series.
On April 19, 2019 at 3 PM, I performed Jean-Pierre Couturier’s La Passione secondo Giovanni at the Good Friday service at Missione Maria Ausiliatrice. The other singers were Valérie Walker (voice II), Marie-Annick Béliveau (voice III) and the composer himself (voice IV). The work has been commercially recorded with my participation with a slightly different personnel and released by Disques Benedictus.
The service was broadcast live on Radio Maria, the world-wide Italian international radio. The Montréal programming can be listened to online HERE or via the Radio Maria mobile app.
I have been granted and assigned a Coat of Arms, Crest, Motto and Badge by the Canadian Heraldic Authority, reflecting my work as composer and organist as well as my cultural background. Special thanks to Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette.
On April 14, 2019, at 2 PM, I participated in a round table at Casa del Popolo, organized by Canadian New Music Network / Réseau canadien pour les musiques nouvelles. SDr. rri Hron organized the event, focusing on diversity initiative and promotion. Participatants whom I know of include Isak Goldschneider and Liberté Anne (Lux Magna Festival)
On April 7, 2019 at 3 (3:30) PM, I performed a concert in Notre-Dame-de-la-Consolata, Montréal, together with singers Rev. Jean-Pierre Couturier, Marie-Annick Béliveau and Valérie Walker.
Two of my works were on the programme, Salve, Regina, for barytone and organ, and Vocalise 2, for three female singers and ostinato. I also played two organ préludes by Jehan Alain and sung in Walker’s Ave, Maria and Couturier’s La Passione secondo Giovanni.
15 minutes before the beginning of the concert, Jean-Pierre Couturier and I appeared live on Radio Maria together with Rev. Mario Neva to talk about the sacred music projects we are involved in. Radio Maria, a world-wide Catholic radio station, live streams in Italian in Montréal. You can listen to it online HERE (note: it is not 24 hours a day)
The concert was part of the 2019 Italian cultural series, organised and produced by Rev. Neva.
