Concert at Les Marronniers

On Friday, December 20th 2019 at 19h30 I accompanied the choir at the soon-to-be largest senior citizens’ residence in Canada, Les Marronniers, a 30-person groupe conducted by Sara Beaudet, named beautifully “Coeur (sic!) des Marronniers”. Marie-Hélène Rondot (sic), founder of the School of Music Marie Harmonie performed on the violin. I played a what is now for me a rare solo as pianist: Mozart’s variations in C major “Ah, vous dirai-je maman”, K.265/300e.

Christmas concert at Maria Ausiliatrice

On Sunday, December 8th at 14h30, the Italian choir of Maria Ausiliatrice presented its annual Christmas Concert. Special thanks to all the sponsors that made the event happen, including the Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Lieutenant for Québec, and Marc Tanguay, member of the provincial parliament.

As per our custom, I alternated conducting and organ playing with Jean-Pierre Couturier. Soloists were Luigi Insognia (tenor), Jean-Pierre Couturier (baritone), and Bartolomeo Marsillo (accordeon).
