I was an interviewed guest for the third time for Dr. Kirsten Ashley Wiest’s Women in music class at the University of California San Bernardino. Seminar on improvisation
On Friday, October 2, 2020, I gave a seminar on improvisation and accompaniment for advanced practitioners, produced and organized by the Foyer des artistes haitiens (Haiti/Québec) and Élite Radio (Haiti). The event took place online because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Two of the examples I recorded with my music partner Jean-Pierre Couturier, included an improvised diatonic accompaniment of Salve, Regina (click HERE) and an improvised discant on Ave, Maria (click HERE)
